Matty Johns and his family record a podcast from a spare bedroom at home. They needed the room to function as a real studio: comfortable for guests, workable for cameras, and consistent on-screen.
The challenge was to make a tiny room work for four people, two cameras, and a producer, while landing a 70s lounge mood without it feeling staged.
We designed and built a relaxed set mixing 70s tiki cues with Australiana decorations. The layout keeps the room open, seats four comfortably, and holds space for two cameras and a producer’s desk. A wall-mounted rail system allows flexible camera positions without cluttering the floor.
